Welcome to the Crittenden Middle School. We are located in Mountain View, California in the heart of Silicon Valley. The campus is right next door to the headquarters of some of the largest high tech companies in the world such as Google, Linkedin, and Yahoo. Our goal is to inspire and empower every music student to pursue musical excellence by providing a quality education and offer a variety of music classes to participate in.
We currently offer choir, band, guitar and orchestra to students on our campus. Please see our music class pages for more information. Below are our music instructors.

Hello Crittenden Panthers! It’s a pleasure to be able to work with fantastic students, such as yourself, in my favorite academic subject - MUSIC! A little about me: I was born and raised here in California, specifically the Bay Area. I have been involved in music since elementary school and have been an active participant in many music ensembles such as concert band, orchestra, marching band, winter percussion and drum and bugle corps during high school, college and beyond. My main instrument is cello, but I have been focusing more on concert percussion. I used to be a workaholic and juggled many various jobs outside of Crittenden, but all that changed when I started a family with my husband. We are proud parents of our first child, Cadence, whose an energetic toddler of 2 years! When I don’t have my hands full of teaching and raising baby Cadence, I find time to enjoy my hobbies: which include watching K-dramas and Japanese anime, reading (fantasy, sci-fi, manga), cooking, baking, hosting game night parties for indy board/card games and playing the latest games on my PS4.

Hello Panthers and Community Members! Teaching music is my life and I'm proud to say that I've been teaching choir and band at Crittenden Middle School for the past twelve years. I've been teaching in the public middle and elementary school system for the past sixteen years and I've also produced many community and school musicals as well as variety shows. As a performer, I once had the privilege of singing with famed composer and lyricist Stephan Schwartz in the "Stephen Schwartz and Friends Concert" (2001). I'm also a singer/songwriter on the side and I just finished recording my third album which features original jazz influenced pop songs and is entitled "Today." I have two children, Matthew (3) and Katherine (5) and I absolutely love being a mom!
